It also supports single-color front filling for small-scale production. ■ What are slurry products (wet type)? Slurry cosmetic materials are created by mixing powders such as foundation and eyeshadow with solvents like IPA, ethanol, isoparaffin, and water. These are filled into a middle dish in either single or multiple colors, and during the compression molding process, the solvent is recovered via vacuum, followed by a drying process to produce the final product. The products have a good feel, consistent hardness, and can incorporate a high amount of pearl materials. ■ Features of back (BIM) filling: - Back filling is a pressurized filling method, resulting in minimal variation in product (filling amount, hardness) even with multiple colors and pieces. - Up to 6 colors can be simultaneously filled and molded in a single resin dish (if there are enough filling pumps, more than 6 colors are possible). - Since multiple colors can be filled simultaneously in one resin dish, costs for the middle dish, mold, and assembly work can be significantly reduced. - Three-dimensional shaping of about 5mm is possible (dome, pyramid, floral patterns, etc.). - Filling and molding can be done without dirtying the outer circumference of the middle dish.
