The ball screw and spline are designed with ball screw grooves and ball spline grooves crossing on a single shaft, and each ball screw nut has a dedicated support bearing directly incorporated into its outer circumference, forming a stroke and rotation unit. By rotating or stopping the ball screw nut and spline outer cylinder, it is possible to achieve rotational motion, linear motion, and spiral motion on a single axis. This is ideal for applications such as the Z-axis of a SCARA robot, assembly robots, auto loaders, and ATC devices in machining centers, where a combination of rotational and linear motion is required.

Additionally, the lightweight ball screw nut results in low inertia, providing high responsiveness. ● Quiet and smooth operation The ball screw features an end cap design, resulting in quiet and smooth operation. ● High rigidity support bearings The support bearing on the ball screw side has a contact angle of 60° in the axial direction, while the support bearing on the ball spline side has a contact angle of 30° in the moment direction, providing rigid shaft support. Furthermore, a dedicated rubber seal is included as standard to prevent foreign object intrusion. ● Easy assembly The ball spline outer cylinder is designed so that the balls do not fall out even when the outer cylinder is removed from the shaft, making assembly easy. Installation is straightforward, requiring only bolting to the housing. (An H7 tolerance for the housing inner diameter is recommended.)
