■The capacitance value of the sensing element changes in response to the wet sensing surface caused by raindrops. ■The built-in heater evaporates moisture from the rain sensor to maintain dryness and prevent false signals (malfunctions) caused by mist or dew. ■At low temperatures, this heater melts snow and detects snowfall using the ambient temperature sensor. ■The circular dome on the outside of the rain gauge serves as a windbreak to prevent sensor malfunctions. ■Equipped with an automatic calibration algorithm to correct fluctuations (drift) in response caused by dirt accumulating on the sensor's sensing surface. ■Features RS485 digital output that can be used with Modbus-RTU or proprietary protocol, 0/4–20mA or 0–10V analog output, and a voltage-free contact output. ■Protection rating IP68. ■A bracket for mounting on walls or poles with a diameter of 30–50mm is included as standard. ■Bird deterrent spikes are optional. ▲Built-in heater accurately detects rain, snow, hail, and sleet. ▲Compact size of φ70×70mm, high durability, protection rating IP68. ▲Operating temperature -40 to +60℃, bird deterrent spikes (optional). ▲Drift correction due to dirt is achieved through a self-calibration algorithm. ▲RS485 (Modbus-RTU or proprietary protocol) / Analog / Contact output.
