Self-lubricating composite materials for vacuum and high temperature.
NF metal, Daits wood, Orange wood
It is a lubricating material that does not lose its lubricating properties up to 800°C in a vacuum. It also exhibits lubricating properties in low-temperature environments such as liquid nitrogen. Variations for atmospheric and underwater use are available.
It is inexpensive because it can be manufactured using vacuum sintering without the use of hot pressing. Due to its good machinability, it can be applied to various parts by creatively designing shapes. By changing the metal matrix of the material and the solid lubrication components, materials suitable for various applications such as high and low temperatures in the atmosphere or underwater can be produced. We are currently developing materials for various environments. Recently, similar products to NF Metal have emerged, so please be cautious. In such cases, please compare them with our NF Metal products; there will be significant differences in powder generation and crack resistance. The product names of NF Metal directly adopt the names of fruits used in the development project.

basic information
In vacuum and high-temperature environments, grease and oil cannot be used in sliding parts, leading to seizing and galling, which prevents proper sliding. Our NF Metal is the only material that can be used in such conditions. Among NF Metals, "Deitz material" and "Orange material" are effective for vacuum applications. They are typically incorporated into sliding bearings and ball bearings. By applying Deitz and Orange materials, it is possible to extend the replacement and maintenance intervals of sliding parts by several to dozens of times while achieving smooth rotation and sliding. Deitz material is a composite of tungsten disulfide and tungsten. Orange material is a composite of tungsten disulfide, graphite, BN, and copper alloy. Additionally, NF Metal has a very low wear rate (10^-8 to 10^-7), with examples of use without replacement for up to 10 years. NF Metal can be manufactured by selecting solid lubricants and metal types, making it suitable for use in atmospheric and high-temperature conditions. NF Metal (Melon material) has been developed for atmospheric applications.

Applications/Examples of results
It is widely known under the product name "Miracle Pillow" for the rotating rails of optical vapor deposition devices. Additionally, it is applied as sliding bearings and ball bearings in the internal bearings of vacuum deposition devices, ion plating devices, sputtering devices, CVD film deposition devices, as well as in the bearings of tantalum sintering furnaces and roller hearth furnaces. Since ball bearings are introduced separately, please search for our company name.
Company information
We are exploring new materials with a focus on heat-resistant materials, using vacuum and heat as keywords. In particular, we are concentrating on the sales of high-temperature self-lubricating composite material "NF Metal" and its application products (such as sliding bearings and ball bearings) among materials for vacuum equipment. NF Metal is a sintered alloy that disperses various solid lubricants in a metal matrix. It is a super material that does not lose its lubrication performance up to 800°C in a vacuum. Since it is currently only applied in a limited number of vacuum devices, we are working to expand its applications. If there are lubrication issues with rotation or sliding in a vacuum, please consider the application of NF Metal. Additionally, NF Metal has also been developed as a material that can be used up to 800°C in the atmosphere by selecting solid lubricants and matrix metals.
