Electroless nickel Teflon plating refers to a plating process in which solid particles of PTFE (a fluorocarbon resin composed solely of fluorine and carbon atoms, with a particle size of less than 1 μm, commonly known by the trademark Teflon) are uniformly dispersed in the electroless nickel plating solution, resulting in a co-deposited plating treatment. Our electroless nickel Teflon has a PTFE content of 20-25/Vol% (medium Teflon content type). It has a higher hardness than fluorine coatings and possesses conductivity. In terms of lubricity, compared to standard electroless nickel (with a dynamic friction coefficient of about 0.4), electroless nickel Teflon (with a dynamic friction coefficient of 0.1) exhibits lower friction and provides excellent lubricating effects. The appearance has a gray color tone.
