basic information
**Overview** The orifice ring is widely used due to its easy installation, as it has a differential pressure extraction feature. However, it is not suitable for high temperatures or high pressures because it has many components and lacks a gasket width between the ring and the orifice plate. Therefore, it is used at relatively low temperatures and pressures, typically up to about 20K/300lb according to flange standards. (For high temperatures and high pressures, please use a block orifice.) The dimensions are designed to fit within the bolt pitch circle of each flange standard, and standard products are manufactured to comply with flange standards such as JIS, JPI, and ANSI. (Special sizes can also be manufactured upon separate consultation.)
