The inner and outer tubes of the double-tube heat exchanger are supplied with hot water and cold water, respectively, in either counterflow or parallel flow conditions, and the heat transfer rate and overall heat transfer coefficient are measured from the heat transfer process. Since temperature control is performed using a digital temperature controller, stable experiments can be conducted.
