The LE series laser distance meters are non-contact optical sensors that can measure long distances. The sensor emits a modulated laser beam, which is reflected by a reflector attached to the measurement target. The absolute distance to the measurement target is calculated from the phase difference of the transmitted and received laser beams. The LE200 series has been linearized for the entire range of output for each individual unit, providing very high accuracy and reliability.
