Liquid level detection switch using a float.
The optical fiber sensor that has been commercialized this time belongs to the category of optical passive sensors among optical fiber sensors. The features of this sensor include the characteristics common to general optical fiber sensors, such as resistance to electromagnetic noise, no need for power supply equipment, electrical insulation, and intrinsic explosion-proof properties, along with the advantage of being able to detect light in a simple manner. Furthermore, the product incorporates design and manufacturing know-how accumulated by Shinko Corporation, which has been honed over more than 10 years in the optical communication industry.

basic information
This is a liquid level detection switch using a float. The switch consists of a float with a built-in magnet and a Faraday switch (sensor). When the liquid level rises, the float approaches the sensor, causing a change in the magnetic field received by the sensor, which in turn changes the amount of light detected by the detector, indicating that the set liquid level has been reached. Depending on the installation position on the tank, both side-wall type and hanging type are available. Additionally, to allow for use as a submersible type, the fiber optic extraction part is designed to be completely waterproof. (This product was developed through technical collaboration between Tohoku Electric Power Co., Inc. and Hitachi Cable, Ltd.)

Our company is a manufacturer of oxide single crystals. In particular, we specialize in the following products: 1. Sapphire (α-Al2O3) 2. SrTiO3 3. Rutile (single crystal of TiO2). Although we are a crystal manufacturer, we also perform a full range of processing, including cutting, grinding, and polishing. Having handled crystals for over 70 years since our founding, we possess extensive knowledge and experience, especially regarding sapphire. Recently, we have also been mass-producing sapphire crystals larger than 300mm, allowing us to accommodate large-shaped products and mass production. We are a small company with about 170 employees, but please feel free to contact us if there is anything we can assist you with.
