This module converts the electrical contact output that a general detector (electric type) outputs during an alarm into an On/Off light signal.
The optical fiber sensor that has been commercialized this time belongs to the category of optical passive sensors among optical fiber sensors. The features of this sensor include the characteristics typically found in general optical fiber sensors, such as resistance to electromagnetic noise, no need for power supply equipment, electrical insulation, and inherent explosion-proof properties, along with the advantage of enabling optical detection in a simple manner. Furthermore, the product incorporates the design and manufacturing know-how of Shinko Corporation, which has been honed over more than 10 years in the optical communication industry.

basic information
This module converts the electrical contact output that a general detector (electrical type) outputs during an alarm into an On/Off light signal. The module consists of a DC solenoid and micro-optics, and it features a simple mechanism where a light-blocking rod connected to the solenoid obstructs the light path during operation. As a result, it allows for the inclusion of targets that are difficult to detect directly with passive optical sensors, such as gas concentrations, into the monitoring targets of other passive optical switches of the same series. (This product was developed through technical cooperation between Tohoku Electric Power Co., Inc. and Hitachi Cable, Ltd.)

Our company is a manufacturer of oxide single crystals. In particular, we specialize in the following products: 1. Sapphire (α-Al2O3) 2. SrTiO3 3. Rutile (single crystal of TiO2). Although we are a crystal manufacturer, we also perform a full range of processing, including cutting, grinding, and polishing. Having handled crystals for over 70 years since our founding, we possess extensive knowledge and experience, especially regarding sapphire. Recently, we have also been mass-producing sapphire crystals larger than 300mm, allowing us to accommodate large-shaped products and mass production. We are a small company with about 170 employees, but please feel free to contact us if there is anything we can assist you with.
