The PCcompact MT is a multifunctional chlorine concentration meter that can be used as a residual chlorine meter, a high-concentration effective chlorine meter, and a chlorine dioxide meter, all in one device. Water samples containing chlorine or chlorine dioxide are taken in a special container, and a reagent is added to develop color. Then, by placing the container in the chamber of the PCcompact MT and pressing the switch, the value is digitally displayed within 10 seconds.

You can use it for a wide range of applications, including measuring residual chlorine in tap water and groundwater used in schools, food service centers, food factories, kitchens, and pools; measuring residual chlorine in chlorine disinfectants used for Legionella bacteria control in hot springs, spas, super sento (Japanese public bathhouses), and cooling towers; measuring the effective chlorine concentration of sodium hypochlorite used for raw eggs, cut vegetables, cutting boards, dishes, and wet towels; checking the hypochlorous acid concentration of strongly acidic water used for hospital disinfection and in kitchens; and measuring the concentration of chlorine dioxide, which has been increasingly used for disinfection and sterilization in recent years.
