Electronics Packaging Society Lecture Materials: 30GHz, 80GS/s Oscilloscope for Measuring High-Speed Signals Over 10Gbps
This is an introduction to the seminar materials from LeCroy Japan, which collaborates with users to consider and propose the best measurement devices, measurement methods, repairs, maintenance, upgrades, and purchasing plans. The seminar focuses on "Real-time Oscilloscopes of 30GHz and 80GS/s for measuring high-speed signals exceeding 10Gbps," presented at the Electronics Packaging Society's 4th Public Research Meeting in 2008. We have published technical introduction materials for the Electronics Packaging Society's High-Speed High-Frequency Electronics Packaging Research Committee. We will introduce the latest technologies for achieving a 30GHz bandwidth, essential measurement systems for high-speed serial interface measurements, de-embedding functions to eliminate the effects of test fixtures and cables, and simulation functions for equalizers such as FFE/DFE/CTLE, including "Eye Doctor II."
