◆Preventing the Stagnation and Formalization of KY Activities HACARUS Inc. released the beta version of its app "HACARUS Workplace Safety for KY," which supports KY (hazard prediction) activities in industries such as construction and manufacturing, on May 8, and launched the product website. Safety management on-site in industries like manufacturing and construction is conducted through daily KY activities, but stagnation and formalization have been pointed out as issues. It is also a challenge that workers with less experience may not be able to properly identify hazardous points. In this app, AI automatically extracts hazardous points from work conditions and camera images of construction sites, preventing the personalization and formalization of KY activities. Additionally, it displays past labor accident cases from similar work to reduce labor accident risks. KY sheets can be created on the app for immediate sharing, and they can also be saved as PDFs or submitted and managed on paper. Furthermore, handwritten signatures can be added to confirm that workers have conducted the KY process. ◆Improving the Beta Version and Providing the Official Version Around July The company is recruiting businesses to use the beta version and plans to make improvements and developments based on their feedback. The official version is expected to be launched around July 2023.
