Evaluation of dust collection filters, filter media collection efficiency, retention capacity, and pressure loss based on JIS standards.
At the Institute of Living Science, we are equipped with filter and filtration material testing devices that comply with both old and new JIS standards, allowing us to measure collection efficiency, retention capacity, pressure loss, and other parameters necessary for filter and filtration material development.
The "collection efficiency measurement" can determine the collection efficiency for specific particle sizes based on the performance of the filter being tested, following JIS testing methods. By also measuring collection efficiency by particle size, we can provide useful performance data for filter development.
Furthermore, by specifying the final pressure loss, we can determine the dust retention capacity of the filter.
【Test Items】
■ Type 1: Particle collection efficiency (0.3μm), pressure loss
■ Type 2: Particle collection efficiency (by particle size), test dust supply amount, pressure loss, collection efficiency after charging
■ Type 3: Particle collection efficiency (mass method), test dust supply amount, pressure loss
■ Type 4: Particle collection efficiency (0.5 to 1.0μm), ozone generation amount, pressure loss
