We will introduce a case study of business improvement using the 3D CAD "iCAD SX," specialized in mechanical design. At "Shimane Fujitsu Co., Ltd.," they are in-sourcing the production equipment for laptops and other devices. They decided to transition to 3D design to enable vertical startup during the switch of over 20 models. In response to the challenges of optimal robot placement and the design and manufacturing of jigs that arise with each work change, they designed and virtually verified using iCAD SX, reducing the line startup period by 40%.
