After the heavy rain disaster in 2020, we received an inquiry from the education board of a certain city in Kyushu regarding the restoration and cleaning of the flooded classrooms and gymnasium of a junior high school due to the flooding of the river flowing next to the school. Due to the narrow working space, large equipment could not be brought in, and it required considerable effort to scoop out the accumulated sludge. They were troubled by the difficulty of needing manpower during times of flooding. Therefore, we introduced the "HOTJEBLO Fujiyama R2." The non-splashing high-pressure cleaning and simultaneous suction of wastewater proved to be a suitable method for underfloor cleaning, allowing us to complete the restoration cleaning with less than one-sixth of the manpower required during the previous year's flooding and in less than one-third of the time. [Case Overview] ■ Equipment Introduced: HOTJEBLO Fujiyama R2 and peripheral equipment ■ Issues: - Due to the narrow working space, large equipment could not be brought in. The "HOTJEBLO Fujiyama R2" utilizes high-pressure water injection of up to 20 MPa (approximately 200 kgf/cm²) and automatically generates hot water up to 80°C for cleaning while simultaneously recovering and processing the wastewater. It is a cleaning system that integrates multifunctionality into a single unit of hot water high-pressure cleaning and suction equipment.
