Corrosion-resistant and rust-proof coating suitable for stainless steel pipes.

Introducing a coating that excels in rust prevention and corrosion resistance for stainless steel pipes.

**Coating for Improved Rust and Corrosion Resistance** Stainless steel is inherently a material with excellent corrosion resistance, but if you want to further enhance its rust and corrosion resistance, it is necessary to apply a coating. Generally, coatings are applied using paints such as epoxy resin or polyurethane. These paints are known for their durability and weather resistance, providing high rust prevention effectiveness even in environments with corrosive gases or saltwater. For use in even harsher environments, it is also possible to coat with highly corrosion-resistant fluoropolymer resins. For example, resins like PFA and PTFE excel in chemical resistance and can be used in environments with strong acids or strong alkalis. If you are considering improving the corrosion resistance of stainless steel pipes used in harsh environments, we recommend fluoropolymer coating. *For more details on fluoropolymer coatings, please refer to the materials or feel free to contact us.*

Innovation in the manufacturing line! Measures to improve slip properties and enhance work efficiency.

Challenges in the manufacturing site: Improving the slip resistance of external medication containers!

In the manufacturing process of tear-shaped laxatives, when sending the products to the next stage by hand after filling, the sliding of the trays and containers was poor, requiring significant force and time. Therefore, a new surface treatment technology called "Super TP Hemisphere Graphic" was introduced. As a result, it became possible to slide the products with much less force. The workload was significantly reduced, allowing even workers with less strength to easily send out the products. This technology has already been adopted for improving the sliding properties of eye drop bottles, and its effectiveness has been confirmed. For those aiming to enhance efficiency in manufacturing sites, we encourage you to consider this. *For more details, please refer to the catalog or contact us directly.*

A coating that does not exceed the heat resistance temperature of rubber and follows the elasticity of rubber.

The GLC series achieves a coating that does not exceed the heat resistance temperature of rubber and follows the elasticity of rubber.

The GLC series is a "low-friction coating for rubber" that imparts low friction (slipperiness) to rubber materials with grip properties. The coatings in the GLC series are designed to suit the heat resistance and characteristics of various types of rubber. The coating processing temperatures are selected to not exceed the heat resistance of the rubber materials. Therefore, it is possible to apply the coating without compromising the physical properties of the rubber. Additionally, due to the nature of rubber, it can stretch and shrink with even small forces. The coatings in the GLC series can follow this elasticity of rubber, maintaining stable functionality even when the rubber deforms. *For more details, please download the materials and check.

Coatings with excellent non-stick and low friction properties are now possible for rubber products!

The GLC series can accommodate a wide variety of rubber materials.

The GLC series is a "low-friction coating for rubber" that imparts grip, low friction (slipperiness), and non-stick properties to rubber materials. There are many types of rubber, including natural rubber (NR) and chloroprene rubber (CR), each with different characteristics. The GLC series can accommodate these various rubber materials. Depending on the product number, it features excellent low friction, non-stick, and water-repellent properties, allowing for the selection of the optimal coating according to the application of rubber products. The GLC series also contributes to enhancing the functionality of rubber products and extending their lifespan. *Please conduct prototype evaluations to confirm compatibility between the rubber and the coating when considering this product. For more details, please refer to the dedicated page.

New Possibilities of Thin Film Fluororesin Coating '10under'

A groundbreaking thin-film fluororesin coating that achieves thin-film technology while maintaining the performance of fluororesin coatings!

The 10under thin film fluoropolymer coating possesses non-stick properties equivalent to standard fluoropolymer coatings while being processable at a thickness of approximately 10μm. As a result, the dimensional changes due to film thickness are reduced compared to the standard type. Additionally, despite being a thin film, it minimizes transparency and prevents aesthetic defects. When compared to other fluoropolymer coating products, it is generally considered that a thickness of at least 20-50μm is required to maintain good appearance and performance. Therefore, when requesting processing with a thin film like 10under, it was common to propose a "modified type" fluoropolymer coating; however, there are challenges where the modified type may not exhibit the necessary functions. 10under addresses such challenges and is capable of demonstrating high performance while being a thin film. For specific comparisons and detailed information, please check the link.

Achieve low-temperature processing and high lubricity! Newly developed 'Safron LF+'.

Solving the disadvantages of anti-static fluororesin coating! Newly developed Safron LF+ enables low-temperature processing and achieves high lubricity.

The new series "Safron LF+" of the antistatic fluororesin coating developed by Yoshida SKT achieves low friction and allows for low-temperature processing. This expands the options for color tone, film thickness, and processability. Additionally, the antistatic performance remains unchanged from the conventional Safron, and due to its high mechanical strength, it excels in film hardness and wear resistance. It can also accommodate applications that were not possible with previous Safron series, and the variety of colors has increased. For specific performance details, please refer to the property comparison table linked. Moreover, there are specific case studies addressing challenges such as antistatic coatings for flow paths of special inks used in organic EL and antistatic coatings that reduce distortion due to firing. If you have any questions about detailed information or other products, please feel free to contact us.

Electrostatic discharge prevention fluororesin coating that reduces strain in semiconductor device components.

Electrostatic discharge prevention coating for thin aluminum parts used in semiconductor devices! Electrostatic discharge prevention fluororesin coating that can reduce distortion caused by firing.

■Concerns to be resolved and goals to be achieved We received an inquiry about wanting to apply an anti-static coating to thin aluminum parts used in semiconductor equipment. The conventional fluorine-based anti-static coatings required high firing temperatures, which raised concerns about distortion in the aluminum parts. We were looking for a coating that could provide anti-static properties and was less prone to distortion even for thin aluminum parts. ■Coating adopted Saflon LF+ ■Effects achieved Among the Saflon series, Saflon LF+ has a low minimum firing temperature of below 100°C, which is expected to reduce distortion caused by firing, so we proposed it. We confirmed the provision of anti-static properties and resolution of distortion issues through tests and prototypes, leading to its adoption for product coating. The newly developed Saflon LF+ is an anti-static fluororesin coating that can accommodate various environments and applications of our customers. If you have any questions about detailed information or other products, please feel free to contact us.

An explanation of the fluoropolymer PTFE, which has excellent gas barrier properties and high chemical resistance.

PTFE is a rare resin that excels in chemical resistance, heat resistance, and gas barrier properties.

PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) has a very stable molecular structure and excellent chemical resistance. It is also known for its particularly high gas barrier properties among fluoropolymers. This is because PTFE has very low permeability, making it difficult for gases and vapors to pass through. Therefore, it is suitable for use under harsh chemical conditions, such as in chemical plants and semiconductor manufacturing processes. Furthermore, PTFE has high heat resistance and can be used in a temperature range from -200°C to +260°C. This allows it to maintain its properties even under extreme temperature conditions. However, it is important to select the appropriate usage environment, as it may react with fluorine (gas) or alkali metals (sodium, potassium, lithium) under certain conditions. Fluoropolymer lining can form a lining with high gas barrier and chemical resistance properties on the substrate. For more detailed information on chemical resistance, please download the materials or contact us.
