"Cell Purge" can be effectively used in the extruders for compounds that produce pellets. If you add it before removing the screw, you can remove the screw with less force. However, there is no cleaning effect when it is not in a molten state, so cleaning below the hopper cannot be performed. 【Cleaning Method for Extruders with Compounds】 ■ After completing the pelletizing process, discharge all materials from the extruder. ■ For a twin-screw extruder, add a certain amount of Cell Purge to the feeder; for a single-screw extruder, add it to the hopper, and rotate the screw to flow the Cell Purge. ■ When the discharged resin is white and there is no residue from the previous material, stop the screw rotation, open the die, and remove the resin remaining in the die. ■ Flow the next material while the die is open, and once it has been replaced, the cleaning is complete. ■ Close the die, check the condition of the discharged resin, and then start pelletizing. *If you would like a sample, please contact us or download the sample request form and feel free to apply via fax.
