We would like to introduce a case study of a food residue treatment plant that implemented the neutralizing deodorizer "VFD-SRX Series" from Nippon Deodorant Co., Ltd. This plant mixes compost with liquid shochu lees and ferments it to reduce volume. Due to the facility's entrance and exit being fully shuttered, there was concern about odors leaking outside. After introducing the neutralizing deodorizer, it became possible to release the deodorant from above the shutter and from the ventilation fan, applying a deodorizing air curtain at the entrance and exit.
