[Super Sol Construction Case] Example of Ground Subsurface Drainage Work
This is a case study of the renovation work on the grounds of Jonan Junior High School in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
We would like to introduce a case study of the construction using "Super Sol," an artificial lightweight material made from crushed and sintered waste glass. In the renovation work of a public junior high school’s playground, Super Sol was filled into the poorly draining ground's drainage ditches to improve drainage performance. Typically, crushed stone is filled around conventional drainage pipes, but Super Sol is lightweight, making it easier to work with and reducing the load on the drainage pipes. It has a particle size ranging from 2 to 75 mm and maintains high permeability even after installation, making it less prone to clogging and ensuring sustained drainage effectiveness. 【Construction Case Study】 - Project: Renovation of Jonan Junior High School Playground - Application Category: Civil Engineering / Drainage Material / Subsurface Drainage Ground Material - Client: Kurume City - Location: Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture - Required Performance: Drainage and Lightweight Properties For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
