The AI appearance inspection execution system "R-Vision AI" is an image processing system that learns from good product samples and extracts differences as defective products. Until now, most appearance inspections have focused on emphasizing defective products and actively detecting them, which led to the problem of over-detection and complicated threshold settings. The R-Vision AI system was created as a solution to this issue, achieving an appearance inspection system that is closer to the human eye. It also resolves challenges in tasks that image processing has struggled with, such as sorting fruits and inspecting metal parts with hairline scratches. A significant feature is that it requires fewer images for machine learning compared to other AI systems; typically, only about 30 good product images are needed for deep learning to determine quality. Another feature is that the user interface is sophisticated and extremely user-friendly, allowing operators with basic skills to implement it.
