Are you unable to capture accurate work times in real-time, leading to inaccurate cost management and productivity analysis? Here are some examples of improvements in time recording!

■Issues and Causes There are situations in manufacturing work, such as when gloves are worn, that are not suitable for data entry, leading to inaccurate data input and resulting problems. Issues include discrepancies with actual working hours, ambiguity in cost by process, weak estimation basis, and difficulties in identifying bottlenecks and revising standard times. ■Solution We propose the voice input of inspection data using WorkingVoice. It allows for accurate time recording even in dust-proof, oil-proof, and gloved environments, and enables real-time automatic timestamping. The ability to improve data accuracy at low cost and in a short period was a decisive factor for implementation. ■Effects After Implementation The error in actual working hours was improved to within ±1 minute, and cost variances by process and production number were visualized.
