**Lecture Summary** There are few technical books that explain the noise of automobiles, and even in the field of automobile development, there remains a trial-and-error approach to design and noise control. In this lecture, I will first explain the characteristics and analysis methods of typical noises generated inside the vehicle, such as cabin noise caused by vibrations from the engine and drivetrain, road noise from surface inputs, and wind noise from airflow. Next, I will introduce the basic concepts of vibration control, sound insulation, and sound absorption, the differentiation of noise types and frequencies, and examples of their application in automobiles.
