PVC pipes can be connected to water supply steel pipes without flanges! No need for flange processing or welding of steel pipes, achieving simplified construction and cost reduction!
No need for disassembly, easy connection!
Introducing the "Suppon Joint" series of mechanical connection methods!
The product we are introducing this time is the "Suppon MVD." It is a joint that allows for the connection of PVC pipes and water supply steel pipes.
The connection part for the PVC pipe does not require solvents, so there is no need for drying or curing, and water can flow immediately after connection. Additionally, it can be installed even if the construction area is wet due to residual water in the existing pipes.
The connection part for the steel pipe uses mechanical joining, eliminating the need for threading or flange welding. Installation can be done immediately after cutting the steel pipe.
Since the pipe type transition part is not a flange connection, the risk of leakage from the flange area is reduced, and it excels in safety aspects such as earthquake resistance.
It is also possible to slide along the pipe, making it easy to connect existing and new pipes. This can be utilized for repairs or renovations of aging piping when connecting to existing pipes.
If disassembly is needed, it can be easily removed by simply loosening the installed bolts and nuts.
Please give it a try when connecting PVC pipes and water supply steel pipes!
