We are offering a document that outlines "4 Selection Points for Aluminum Processing Companies"!

As a specialist in precision aluminum machining, I will share four key selection points for choosing an aluminum processing company!

Did you have any of these concerns when requesting aluminum processing? ■ After aluminum processing, I had to request surface treatment from a different company, which also involved additional work like reinforcing screw holes... ■ Since only large machines were available, machining small workpieces resulted in significant waste... ■ When I requested a variety of small lots, I was turned down... To solve such concerns, we have published a document on the "Four Selection Points for Aluminum Processing Companies" that we understand as specialists in precision aluminum machining! Please download it from the PDF below.

[Cutting Processing Case in Saitama] Pneumatic Equipment <Ryoshima Milling>

Utilizing NC lathes and machining centers, we can accommodate not only prototypes but also production runs of around a thousand units!

We would like to introduce a processing case of "pneumatic equipment" that we conducted. For complex internal diameter machining of angular parts, we performed processing using a lathe, double-sided milling machine, and machining center. By using a double-sided milling machine instead of the usual machining, we shortened the processing time to accommodate mass production. Additionally, we are capable of drilling holes smaller than Φ1 and performing turning operations up to Φ300. Please feel free to contact us when you need our services. 【Case Overview】 ■Material: SS400 ■Size: Φ100 → □70 ■Machine: Double-sided milling machine *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Reduce costs with automation, unmanned operation, and labor savings! We propose optimization of the processing workflow.

We would like to introduce "cutting processing," one of the three processing technologies that our company utilizes to achieve cost reduction and high precision. The multi-axis automatic lathe realizes high-speed processing in under 10 seconds through simultaneous processing on 6 axes. The NC automatic lathe (bar, chuck) enables a wide range of cutting processing with its multi-functional processing capabilities. Screw processing accommodates rolling and tapping, achieving knurling and high-speed screw processing. 【Cutting Processing】 ■ Multi-axis automatic lathe ■ NC automatic lathe (bar, chuck) ■ Screw processing (rolling, tapping) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Column] About Titanium Machining

You will understand the key points when performing lathe and milling machining! This explains the reasons why titanium machining is difficult.

Cutting titanium is considered very difficult. This is due to the properties of titanium, such as its low thermal conductivity and low Young's modulus. Therefore, when performing lathe or milling operations, it is very important to take measures such as reducing the cutting speed and using cutting oil. Additionally, if there is vibration, the product may become uneven, so it is necessary to pay attention to the installation location of the cutting machine. This article will explain the reasons why cutting titanium is challenging. [Contents] ■ Reasons why cutting titanium is difficult ■ Points to consider when cutting titanium *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Column] About Brass Machining: Points to Note and Two Key Considerations During Processing

Alloy of copper and zinc! An explanation of machining brass (yellow brass) with examples included.

Brass, also known as yellow copper, is processed into familiar items such as five-yen coins, while it is said to be a metal material that is difficult to machine. As an alloy of copper and zinc, its softness and good ductility can be considered major characteristics of brass. This provides the advantage of being easy to process into complex shapes, but it can also lead to issues such as scratches and burrs caused by cutting chips during machining. This article explains the points and precautions regarding the machining of brass, along with examples of machining cases. Please use this as a reference when requesting brass processing. [Column] On the Processing of Nickel Alloys

What is nickel alloy? Introducing four reasons why machining is difficult and examples of processing.

Nickel alloys excel in heat resistance and corrosion resistance, making them indispensable for mechanical parts used in high-temperature environments such as gas turbines and incinerators. However, due to these characteristics, they are referred to as "difficult-to-machine materials," highlighting the challenges of cutting processing. On social media, there are prominent voices expressing that "nickel alloys are difficult, costly, and we don't want to take orders," making them a challenging material for craftsmen. But why is it said that processing them is difficult? In this article, we will explain the reasons why nickel alloys are considered difficult to process from the perspectives of "strength at high temperatures," "hardness," and "relationship with tools." Additionally, in the latter part, we will introduce our company's actual processing achievements for nickel alloys. [Contents] ■ Four reasons why cutting processing of nickel alloys is difficult ■ Introduction of nickel alloy processing achievements at our Kujo factory in Osaka ■ The process of manufacturing nickel alloy parts and how to place orders *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Column] Methods of Cutting Iron

Explaining the machinability and processing methods of iron! Also introducing points to consider when choosing a supplier.

The hardness of iron varies significantly depending on the amount of carbon it contains (carbon steel). Therefore, the machinability of iron differs by type, and materials must be selected according to the desired shape and strength. Additionally, there are several methods for cutting iron, with the main methods being turning, milling, and drilling. This article explains the machinability of iron and its processing methods. [Proposal Example] Thin-walled Aluminum Processing

Final processing using a method that does not produce fixed stress! Introducing examples that suppress the occurrence of distortion.

We would like to introduce examples of how we addressed our customers' challenges and requests. In the machining of aluminum plates, there was a case where, during the process of machining to a thickness of 0.4mm, bulging and distortion occurred on the backside due to machining stress from the machine. By increasing the number of rough machining processes and machining as close to the final shape as possible, followed by final processing using a chucking method that does not generate fixed stress, we were able to suppress the occurrence of distortion and meet the flatness requirements for the outer surface of the product. [Case Overview] ■ Challenges - Bulging and distortion on the backside due to machining stress from the machine - Need to process a product that requires a flatness of 3/100mm for the entire product ■ Proposal - Increase the number of rough machining processes and machine as close to the final shape as possible - Final processing using a chucking method that does not generate fixed stress *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Proposal Example] High-precision products made from materials with high processing difficulty.

The key point is that everything is handled by machining! Successful case studies of processing high-difficulty materials.

We would like to introduce a case study of how we addressed our customer's challenges and requests. In this case, the processing of a relatively difficult material, A2017, was the main issue. Therefore, by using a fixture called a "form clamp," we were able to achieve the tolerance of the inner circle and coaxial accuracy. 【Case Overview】 ■Challenges - Processing of a relatively difficult material, A2017, which is an aluminum alloy. - Processing of large items over Φ300, while needing to achieve inner circle precision. - Difficult to process and labor-intensive. - Since it is round, using a lathe would be ideal, but it is too large to grip. - Unable to achieve coaxial accuracy. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Processing Example] Acrylic Transparent <Machining Cutting Process>

Internal visualization makes fluid research and observation easy! Transparent resin materials can be processed into various shapes.

We would like to introduce a case of machining performed using a machining center at our company. The material is transparent acrylic, processed as a 40mm thick sheet, with an outer diameter of 960mm. A mirror finish with a corner radius of 5mm was applied. Our company is capable of processing various shapes, and we can also accept orders for related metal and rubber parts in a single batch. Since we can propose material selection based on the intended use, please feel free to consult us if you would like to use materials with heat resistance or chemical resistance. 【Case Overview】 ■ Material: Transparent acrylic ■ Machine: Machining center ■ Processing: Processed as a 40mm thick sheet, outer diameter 960mm *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
