Silicon 50° large item machining

Silicone at 50° is soft, making it difficult to process. It is a large piece exceeding 400mm and 50mm in height, but we were able to cut it cleanly.

The shape is being processed by machining from a rubber block. Silicone 50° is soft and more difficult to work with than high-hardness rubber. The materials for processing silicone generally come in 50° (milky white) and 70° (gray).

Urethane 55° two-part roller molded cutting processing

Due to the formulation of urethane, it is possible to perform casting and machining with a hardness of 55. The split roller will be processed after the casting and machining.

Urethane rubber is a material with high strength and excellent abrasion resistance, oil resistance, and ozone resistance. Adjusting hardness and color is relatively easy. MC900NC Angle Cutting Process

This is L-shaped angle processing with the MC900NC. The MC900NC is a nylon material suitable for cutting processing from sheet materials and round bars.

MC900NC is the basic grade of MC nylon and is made of white material. It does have moisture absorption and water absorption, so care must be taken regarding dimensional increase. Boiling it for about 1.5 hours makes it compliant with food sanitation laws.

66 nylon stepped pad machining

66 nylon is actively used for molding, but there are also materials for machining. Since the stepped pad was a prototype, machining without mold costs is optimal.

It is 66 nylon, which has superior strength and heat resistance compared to 6 nylon. It has a color similar to milky white, but the glass fiber reinforced grade is black. Due to its water absorption, it becomes tough, but on the other hand, dimensional changes can occur.

Urethane 90° casting molding machining

After urethane casting and curing, machining can be performed. Machining from casting can accommodate various thicknesses and dimensional shapes.

This is a process where urethane rubber is poured into a mold and solidified, then machined using a lathe or router end mill. This is something that has been shaved down to a thickness of 0.5mm, resembling a veneer. However, the thickness is the target. Urethane rubber is particularly excellent in abrasion resistance and weather resistance, has very strong tear resistance, and also possesses oil resistance, making it suitable for outdoor use and machine integration.
