We would like to introduce a case of processing crankshafts for agricultural machinery at our company. The size is L54×φ12×φ10, with a flange diameter of φ55, and the material is chromium-molybdenum steel SCM415. The rough material is shaped by cold forging, followed by center hole processing, rough machining of the outer diameter on a lathe, and drilling and keyway processing on a machining center. We requested a specialized heat treatment partner to enhance strength and hardness through carburizing and high-frequency quenching of the threaded area.
