Determination of OIT based on chemiluminescence data of polypropylene powder.
Explanation of lifespan prediction! Estimating oxidation induction time (OIT) from CL strength data under heating conditions.
This document is a technical note explaining the determination of OIT (Oxidation Induction Time) and lifespan prediction based on chemiluminescence data of polypropylene powder. OIT can be measured by maintaining isothermal conditions in an inert atmosphere and then switching to an air atmosphere for actual measurement. We introduce a measurement and analysis method for determining OIT from the heating measurement data in an air atmosphere.
