"Thermoplastic/LSR dissimilar material molding" is a technology that bonds materials with opposing molding processes, specifically thermoplastic resin and liquid silicone rubber (thermosetting), within the same process. By bonding silicone rubber, which has physical advantages such as permanent compression set, heat resistance, and electrical insulation compared to elastomers, with thermoplastic resin, it enables product development in a wide range of fields that were previously unachievable.
