The stator and rotor are arranged in a disk shape facing each other, and the magnetic flux flows in the axial direction, exhibiting performance characteristics different from conventional radial motors. ■Principle Structure In an axial gap motor, the stator coil and rotor magnet are arranged in a planar configuration, and torque is generated by the flow of magnetic flux in the axial direction.
