ISTA 1H Non-Simulation

[Transport Test] A series of packaging tests will be conducted in accordance with the test sequence specified in ISTA 1H.

Overview of the ISTA 1H Test: - It applies to packaged products weighing over 150 lb (68 kg). - ISTA 1H does not consider temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, or handling shocks that occur during transportation; it is not a packaging test that simulates the transport environment. - Users can utilize ISTA 1H as a consistent screening test. - The items consist of a change from fixed displacement vibration in the 1B test to random vibration, comprising random vibration and shocks. - The overall Grms for random vibration is 1.15, with a maximum amplitude of 22.45 mm p-p. - For shocks, cargo that can be dropped from the top will be dropped from a height of 150 mm on all six sides. For cargo where top dropping is not realistic, inclined or horizontal shocks will be conducted, followed by edge drop from a single support. - Inclined and horizontal shocks will apply an impact of 1.7 m/s in four directions on the cargo. - In the edge drop from a single support, the edge of the bottom surface is placed on a support bar at a height of 90-100 mm, and one side is lifted to drop from a height of 200 mm. - After conducting random vibration and shocks continuously, the box is opened to check for damage.

ISTA 6 FedEx-A

[Transport Test] We will conduct the packaging tests specified in ISTA 6 FedEx-A.

ISTA (International Safe Transit Association) is one of the international standards widely adopted in various countries for the evaluation testing standards of packaged goods, similar to ISO and ASTM. In recent years, its presence has been increasing in Southeast Asia and China, and more companies are adopting ISTA testing standards as their internal standards. The 6 Series is a testing standard developed based on the transportation environment surveys conducted by major corporate members. The 6-FedEx-A standard, issued in 2008, is a recommended testing method by FEDEX for packaged goods that are loaded onto aircraft and trucks for domestic and international transportation. ▼ For more details, please download the PDF document (recommended). ▼ Customers in a hurry, please contact us through the 'Contact Us' section below.
