0398 Preventing clogging of ceramic powder

Prevention of ceramic powder clogging! A case of delivering the Brody Disk Mini.

This is a project delivered to a manufacturer of ceramic structural materials. Due to powder blockage at the entrance of the screw feeder, the Brodix Mini was adopted as a countermeasure. After installation, this blockage was resolved immediately. 【Overview】 ■ Target material: Ceramic fine powder ■ Installation location - Entrance of the screw feeder (300φ×200H) - The screw diameter at the bottom is 200φ 【Key points of this equipment】 ■ The elastic disk (silicone) is very important in terms of strength and durability, especially considering the risk of foreign material contamination. The silicone disk of this equipment is exceptionally strong and durable. Once you use it, you will understand! ■ Control (how to aerate?) is crucial! We provide guidance on what should be done. A dedicated controller is also available. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us. *Our website features numerous case studies. You can check them out via the link below.

0467 Preventing clogging of flux powder

Concerned about wear on the inside of the hopper, a wear-resistant urethane rubber sheet has been applied to the equipment installation area!

This is an introduction to a case where the Brody Disk Mini was used as a countermeasure for blockages at the discharge section of a small hopper. The user was concerned about wear on the inner surface of the hopper, and decided to attach a wear-resistant urethane rubber sheet to the installation area of the equipment at the time of adoption. We believe that this equipment is extremely effective in preventing bridging compared to vibration or impact-type bridge breakers. However, the installation position is very important, so please feel free to consult us. 【Case Overview】 ■ Hopper Overview: Square hopper (3 sides inclined, 1 side vertical) discharge section 50φ ■ Target Material: Welding flux fine powder ■ Special Notes: Concerned about wear on the inner surface of the hopper, a wear-resistant urethane rubber sheet was attached to the installation area of the equipment at the time of adoption. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Preventing the bridging of PP pellets

Preventing damage to the hopper! Introduction of an example to prevent bridging of PP pellets.

We received contact from a customer stating, "Bridging occurs due to the lot of raw materials, and we would prefer not to use knockers considering the damage to the hopper." After detailed discussions, we have resolved the bridging issue with your adoption of our solution. This equipment prevents bridging through the vibration of the silicone discs and air injection onto the inner surface of the hopper. Therefore, it does not cause any damage to the hopper. Please contact us for details regarding the configuration. This equipment is easy to install and cost-effective, but the layout is important. Feel free to reach out. 【Case Overview】 ■ Target Material: PP Pellets ■ Hopper Diameter: φ350 ■ Discharge Diameter: φ70 ■ Model & Configuration: Two BroaDisc Mini discs with a diameter of 50mm installed at varying heights, totaling four discs ■ Our Scope: Delivery of BroaDisc Mini and controller *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Preventing the bridge of the tea cake hopper.

Brodiscs and Brodisc Minis are available for loan! We will send them quickly.

This is a case where a beverage manufacturer adopted the "Brodisk Mini." "We would like to adopt the Brodisk as a countermeasure because a bridge occurs in the tea lees hopper, but we are unsure whether the Brodisk or the Brodisk Mini is better due to the size of the hopper," they consulted us. After explaining the selection points, we lent both models for testing by the customer, which led to the adoption of our product in large quantities. The results were reported to be very good, and after this adoption, it has been used in multiple locations through horizontal expansion. [Product Specifications, etc.] ■ Brodisk Mini BD-08S-W, multiple units *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

0707 Preventing the rat hole phenomenon of PVC powder (Brodie Disk Mini)

Simultaneously turn ON/OFF four Brody Disk Minis with the C-SV1 controller!

We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of the "Blow Disk Mini" for users in the resin industry. We received an inquiry through a canning contractor. They mentioned, "If no specific measures are taken, rat holes will occur (from the resin manufacturer), and we would like to install the Blow Disk when newly fabricating the hopper. We would appreciate advice on the detailed arrangement." After reviewing the hopper drawings and powder samples, we provided information on appropriate arrangements and controls, which led to their adoption. The results after implementation were, of course, evaluated as "good" by the customer. 【Case Overview】 ■ Material: PVC powder ■ Hopper Diameter: Φ280 ■ Discharge Diameter: Φ80 ■ Number of Hoppers: 2 ■ Arrangement & Control: (per hopper) - 4 Blow Disk Minis (2 at different heights) - Simultaneous air ON/OFF for 4 Blow Disk Minis with controller C-SV1 *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Elimination of the rat hole phenomenon in talc fine powder.

We will introduce a case where the rat hole phenomenon was resolved in one go by installing a Brodisk.

We would like to introduce a case study where our "Broady Disk" was installed. We received an inquiry regarding the complete rat-hole phenomenon occurring in a talc fine powder hopper. In a square hopper, material was accumulating on the sloped surfaces, requiring manual hammering to dislodge it. When hammering was ineffective, they resorted to using a stick to poke the material. However, with the installation of our product, the rat-hole phenomenon was resolved in one go. [Case Overview (Partial)] ■ Hopper: 800×800 ■ Discharge: Screw feeder ■ Input: FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

0691 Bridge prevention of HD-PE crushed material

Case study on resolving bridging issues in the hopper of high-density polyethylene grinding materials!

We would like to introduce a case where "Brodisk" was adopted at a facility engaged in resin molding for automotive parts and various containers. A bridge occurred in the hopper for crushed high-density polyethylene, and this device was installed to prevent it. The problem was solved in one go. In this case, there was a request to try the device before purchase, so we lent out the actual product for them to confirm its effectiveness. 【Case Overview】 ■ Target Material - Crushed high-density polyethylene - Size approximately 3-5mm ■ Hopper - 450×450 - 3-sided incline (about 45°) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

0694 Prevention of rat holes in talc (tire-related)

The troubles of bridge, rat hole, and powder clogging were resolved more easily than the customer's expectations!

We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of "Brodisk" at a tire-related business. The company's challenge was to eliminate and prevent talc rat holes. While blockages at the discharge point were resolved by tapping, rat holes remained, and the powder remaining on the hopper wall was quite compacted. In our company, we installed one Brodisk (Type 15) near the discharge area on each of the four sides of a square hopper, and one more above that, offset from the center left and right, resulting in two Brodisks per side, for a total of eight Brodisks. Using a controller C-SV4 equipped with four solenoid valves, we aerated the eight Brodisks two at a time, and the customer's problem was resolved in one go. [Case Summary (Partial)] ■ Hopper Conditions - Size: 800×800 - Discharge Area: 150×150 - Discharge Device: RV *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
