Measures for preventing red rust and water leakage in the hot water supply piping of a certain hotel.

Case study of introducing NMR pipe protectors for preventing red rust and extending the lifespan of hotel hot water piping.

At a certain hotel, #IP, the hot water supply piping made of heat-resistant vinyl-lined steel pipes had significant red rust corrosion after 31 years of construction, raising concerns about leaks from the joints. Therefore, a red rust prevention and piping extension device called "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, a white filter was attached to the hot water faucet, and after running water for six days, the filter turned brown due to red rust generated in the hot water piping, revealing that the captured iron content was 150 mg/l, indicating that red rust corrosion in the piping was quite advanced. One month after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, a white filter was attached at the same location and under the same conditions as before, and the captured iron content decreased to 140 mg/l. Two months after installation, the iron content due to red rust further decreased to 17 mg/l, and the red rust in the piping transformed into black rust that does not dissolve in water, demonstrating the rust prevention effect and extension of the hot water piping's lifespan. At hotel #IP, it was verified that if the use of the NMR Pipe Protector continues, all red rust in the air conditioning chilled water piping will change to black rust, and the cost will be less than one-fifth of the piping replacement work, allowing the piping to be extended until the building's lifespan. Naturally, leaks have been completely prevented thereafter.

Measures to prevent red water and leaks in the water supply piping of the Legend Hotel Saigon.

Case study on the introduction of NMR pipe protectors for preventing red rust and extending the lifespan of hotel water supply piping.

The Legend Hotel Saigon is a building that is 7 years old and used galvanized steel pipes (SGP) for its water supply piping. Due to the high sulfur content in the water supplied from Ho Chi Minh City, red rust corrosion in the hotel's water supply pipes progressed very quickly, resulting in red water coming from the faucets in guest rooms within 6 to 7 years after completion. There were also concerns about potential future leaks. To address the red water issue caused by red rust in the water supply pipes, a plan for pipe replacement was considered; however, it was costly and required a water outage, which would necessitate halting hotel operations. As a solution, the "NMR Pipe Protector," a device for rust prevention and extending the life of pipes that does not require a water outage, was installed by a major Japanese general contractor. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, very dark red water due to red rust was coming from the faucets, but 1.5 months after its installation, the water became almost clear, resolving complaints from the hotel. The NMR Pipe Protector has been proven to stop the progression of new red rust and convert the existing red rust in the pipes into inert black rust that does not dissolve in water.

Leakage prevention measures for the air conditioning piping at Hotel #P.

Case study on the introduction of NMR pipe protectors for preventing red rust and extending the lifespan of hotel air conditioning piping.

At a certain hotel, when it was 40 years old, the deterioration of red rust in the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping made of galvanized steel pipes (SGP) was very advanced, and leaks were occurring at the joints. Therefore, a red rust prevention piping longevity device called "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the amount of black rust in the red rust within the hotel's air conditioning chilled and hot water piping was 5.7%. However, six weeks after installation, the amount of black rust increased to 70.8%, demonstrating a relative increase of 1242.1%, proving that the red rust occurring in the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping was reduced to black rust. If the use of the NMR Pipe Protector continues in the future, all red rust in the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping will be reduced to inert black rust with a volume of 1/10, and as long as external corrosion does not occur, leaks from the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping will be prevented, extending the lifespan of the building. Naturally, the replacement of the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping will no longer be necessary.

Leakage prevention measures for the hot water supply piping at Hotel Toyokaku.

Case study of introducing NMR pipe protectors for preventing red rust and extending the lifespan of hotel hot water piping.

Hotel Toyokankaku is a 42-year-old building, and due to the use of galvanized steel pipes (SGP) for the hot water supply piping, issues such as leaks occurred, leading to frequent partial updates of the piping. However, there was still a serious issue with red water in the hot water supply piping in the guest room bathrooms, so we installed the rust prevention piping longevity device "NMR Pipe Protector." Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron ion concentration in the circulating hot water was high at 4.3 mg/l, but four weeks after installation, the iron ion concentration in the hot water significantly decreased to 1.6 mg/l, and further decreased to 0.27 mg/l eight weeks after installation, completely eliminating the red water. From these results, it was demonstrated that the NMR Pipe Protector converted the red rust in the hot water piping to black rust, preventing the red rust from dissolving into the water and reducing the iron content in the hot water. It was proven that external corrosion was prevented, leaks were avoided by continuing to use the NMR Pipe Protector, and the hot water piping was extended to the lifespan of the building.

Insect intrusion prevention measures for manufacturers of food and pharmaceuticals.

Pest control services ideal for factories and warehouses (measures to prevent insect intrusion).

This is an optimal pest control service (insect intrusion prevention measures) for manufacturers of food, pharmaceuticals, and other products in factories and warehouses. ■ What is ICCSSO? Using weather-resistant adhesive sheets, it seals gaps in buildings such as factories and warehouses, preventing tiny insects and mites from entering through gaps as small as a few millimeters for an extended period. By selecting adhesive sheets that match the size of the gaps and the material of the substrate, and having experts perform the installation, this new insect intrusion prevention measure achieves even greater effectiveness. ■ Four Benefits of ICCSSO 1. Low Cost Both the processing and installation of the sheets are simple, and the material costs are relatively low, allowing us to offer it at a significantly lower price than traditional exterior wall construction. 2. Long Lifespan The sheets have a weather resistance of 5 to 8 years, and are further reinforced with a laminate finish to ensure sufficient strength. Additionally, due to the flexible material, they can adapt to the expansion and contraction of the substrate (board surface), allowing for long-lasting effectiveness. 3. Adaptable to Various Installation Locations By using special sheets and performing substrate treatment, it can be adapted to various locations. (Note: Installation may not be possible depending on the condition of the substrate and location.) 4. Short Construction Period The installation method is simpler than traditional pest control measures, allowing us to provide the service in a relatively short period.

Measures to prevent forgetting to lower the truck's cargo bed.

When the sensor detects something, the rotating light will activate! It alerts the driver to danger.

We propose a measure to prevent forgetting to lower the cargo bed by installing a gate at the construction site exit, where vehicles must stop briefly in front of the gate to check for any oversight using a sensor. Since the driver needs to get out of the vehicle to operate the button, they can visually confirm the cargo bed. If the sensor detects an issue, a rotating light will activate to alert the driver of the danger. 【Equipment Used】 ■ Car Gate ■ Large Vehicle Detection Sensor *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

[Origin Certification Example] Oysters - Measures to Prevent Origin Fraud

Measures to prevent misrepresentation of origin assert the origins of various oysters! Unique scientific fingerprints are identified for each lease/growing bay.

As a measure to prevent origin fraud, we would like to introduce an example of a countermeasure involving a joint effort between the Tasmanian government and the Tasmanian Oyster Company, which conducted origin certification for oysters. The objective is to verify the digital tracking platform created by the Tasmanian state government. Oysters are often mixed or substituted throughout the supply chain, and by claiming a specific origin, a premium can be added, resulting in increased sales prices for consumers. The origin program allows for 100% classification of the sample's origin and 100% mutual verification, enabling tracking back to the bay of origin, and for individual leases within a single bay, it can achieve 98% accuracy. [Summary of Countermeasure Example (Partial)] ■Challenges - Mixing/substitution often occurs throughout the supply chain - Claiming a specific origin can add a premium, raising sales prices - The emergence of substitutes may lead to potential revenue loss due to quality and flavor differences *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Pro Manual! Human Error and Mistake Prevention / Recurrence Prevention Measures

Thoroughly address human errors in the manufacturing industry from all angles! Please choose from practical manuals, procedure documents, or on-demand video explanations.

★Traditional human error countermeasures have been reactive measures (whack-a-mole) that address issues after they occur. ★From the mindset that "humans make mistakes," we aim to reduce errors to as close to zero as possible. Our research institute scientifically analyzes human (operator) behavior and work processes, proposing a system (management framework) that includes reliability design to prevent errors, work training, and clarifying the role of change point managers in manufacturing processes. ★The seven steps for human error countermeasures are as follows: 1. Reliability design of processes incorporating preventive measures (poka-yoke) (QC process diagrams/work instructions) 2. Work observation and improvement using IE methods (environmental improvements/motion principles and ergonomic approaches) 3. Feedback to work standards 4. Work breakdown and training 5. Involvement of managers in daily operations (work observation and guidance) 6. Investigation of root causes and countermeasures when errors occur (structuring rules and pointing out deficiencies) 7. Knowledge informationization (knowledge management)

Support for measures to prevent pollution (noise).

We will support the direction of noise control measures within pollution prevention.

The content of the measures is as follows: (1) Work environment measurement; measurement of the work environment in indoor workplaces. Work environment measurement is necessary even when changes are made to equipment, work processes, or work methods. The equivalent noise level refers to the fact that noise in the workplace typically varies significantly over time. Instead of measuring the instantaneous value of noise intensity, it is a value expressed as the average of the noise level measured over a certain period of time during which the noise fluctuates. (2) Noise prevention measures; Actual noise prevention measures can be broadly divided into three categories: 1. Source measures 2. Measures for transmission paths 3. Measures on the worker's side It is important to implement the most effective measures by applying these strategies either individually or in combination, depending on the management category. In summary, the direction of actual noise measures will be supported and guided as part of production technology consulting.

Fire Prevention Measures for Warehouses: The Importance of Lessons Learned and Training in Large-Scale Warehouses

Reconfirm the realities and dangers of warehouse fires, the actual state of legal violations in large warehouses, and the lessons learned from the contents of the report!

Time flies, and we are already halfway through this year, with the season transitioning into the rainy season and then summer. I understand that discussing fire safety at this time may seem out of sync with the season, but it is essential to implement year-round fire prevention measures for warehouse facilities, which are crucial for logistics. When it comes to warehouse fires, those that cause significant damage or occur in large-scale warehouses tend to receive extensive media coverage. However, it seems that other types of fires do not get reported as much. One notable large-scale warehouse fire occurred in February 2017 in Miyoshi Town, Iruma District, Saitama Prefecture, where approximately 45,000 square meters of a warehouse with a total floor area of about 70,000 square meters burned, taking about 12 days to extinguish. *You can view more details about the blog through the related links. Royal Garden Hotel, UK - Measures for preventing red rust and water leaks in air conditioning and hot water piping.

Case studies of introducing NMR pipe protectors for preventing red rust and extending the lifespan of hotel air conditioning and hot water piping.

The Royal Garden Hotel London, famous as a five-star hotel in London, was built in 1965 and currently has 400 rooms. Due to the iron pipes in the hotel's hot water circulation system, red water was coming out of the taps every morning. To prevent rust and leaks in the piping and to extend its lifespan, an NMR Pipe Protector was installed. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron content value due to red rust in the hot water supply during nighttime was very high at 2.79 mg/l. However, 25 days after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, it decreased to 0.016 mg/l, and further decreased to 0.013 mg/l 36 days after installation, falling below the water quality standard value of 0.2 mg/l set by the UK Water Supply Act. This reduction was achieved as the existing red rust in the pipes was converted into black rust, which is an insoluble form with a volume 1/10 of the original, thereby demonstrating the anti-corrosion effect and lifespan extension of the air conditioning and hot water piping.
