Speaking of wire cutting, when calculating running costs, we must consider not only the cost of the wire itself but also the costs of guides, filters, and ion exchange resins. What exactly is ion exchange resin? To put it simply, wire cutting is performed in a submerged state, where the workpiece is processed while it is in water. It's like adjusting the components of that water. It is not an exaggeration to say that the presence of ion exchange resin enables high precision. Tainatec's CNC wire discharge precision contouring machine (molybdenum wire cut) prioritizes speed over precision, which is why it adopts a spraying method and does not require ion exchange resin.
