[RFID × U-Mate Implementation Case] Company S (Major Home Appliance Manufacturer)

A case where the identification of inventory items at the time of disbursement and the registration of disbursement performance have become efficient.

At the major home appliance company S, inventory management for tens of thousands of home appliance products and detailed optional items (rental items) was conducted using barcodes, which took a considerable amount of time during inventory withdrawals. Therefore, we introduced our RFID × U-Mate products. As a result, the time taken to identify inventory items and register withdrawal records during the withdrawal process was reduced from about 30 minutes to just a few minutes, allowing for a much quicker operation. [Case Study] <Implementation Effects> ■ The labor required for inventory work was significantly reduced (2 people per day) → Multiple readings can be done simultaneously up to about 5 meters ■ Can share with existing labels (related functions during storage) → RF tags can be associated at the same time as storage ■ RF tags can be reused (U-Mate function) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Example] Major German automobile manufacturer

Achieving advanced manufacturing sites with RFID! Introducing a case study on building data management for parts that require safety.

Here is a case study of "RFID solutions" at a major automobile manufacturer. In this company, RFID labels are tagged to up to 50 parts, and the RFID system had to identify all of them during production. RFID gates automatically register automobile parts assembled along the production line, record them in the target vehicle database, and improve process optimization. The company plans to complete this global RFID implementation in 2023 and expand it to eight factories in five countries. [Case Summary] ■ Results - Improved data quality, up to double production throughput, optimization of manual work ■ Benefits - Cost reduction, improved data quality, compliance *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

RFID: Case Study on Tool Discovery

Confirming loss with metal-compatible tags! Introducing a case study on how to streamline the precise management of tools.

We would like to introduce a case study of our management system, 'P3 Finder.' In airport maintenance facilities, the loss of tools can lead to accidents, so very strict management is implemented; however, this also takes up a lot of time for management. By introducing this system, we can attach small metal-compatible tags to each tool and perform a bulk reading before and after maintenance to check for any losses. 【Case Overview】 ■Challenges - Loss of tools can lead to accidents - Time is consumed for management ■Results - RFID and our solution streamline strict management - Efficiently search in case of loss or potential loss *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

The era of RFID! Simply place it to collect work performance data - "Okujake Board".

Isn't what is happening in the process a black box? Visualization of the process is achieved with RFID!

Factory Manager M: "It seems that there is still no report on yesterday's work performance. What's going on?" Site Manager T: "I apologize, but we had equipment troubles yesterday, and the performance report has not yet come from the site." Factory Manager M: "Equipment troubles, you say? I haven't received any report about that. What's happening?" Site Manager T: "I'm sorry for the late report. The main equipment was down, and the site was in chaos. I will ensure that a report is made as soon as possible." Have you ever experienced something like this? Delays in communication can lead to decreased productivity and further troubles. These issues are not solely due to problems in the management system, but rather because an environment has not been created where managers and responsible parties can quickly grasp the site situation. So, why not use RFID technology to visualize this?
