[Case Study] Oil Recovery from Narrow Pits (High Temperature)

Leave the recovery of floating oil to us, even in narrow spaces and with high-temperature fluids!

●We want to recover floating oil from high-temperature wastewater in a narrow pit. Until now, workers have been recovering oil from the high-temperature wastewater accumulating in the pit using tools like a "hishaku" (a ladle). Due to the high temperature and the dangers of working above the pit, they were troubled about how to recover the floating oil. Therefore, H2 proposed a combination of the ADD type air diaphragm for high temperatures and a custom-made recovery float. This was accepted after a satisfactory demonstration on-site. ●The float was manufactured to fit the pit, made entirely of SUS316 material. We determined the float size to fit the narrow pit, and since it would be exposed to corrosive liquids and high temperatures, it was constructed entirely of SUS316. The processing of the funnel part of the float was particularly challenging, but we completed it without issues. H2 offers the "H-FR" series of pump skimmers, but if the size does not fit or if material considerations are necessary, we can flexibly accommodate custom requests. Introducing case studies of sludge recovery considering the properties of the target sludge.

We delivered a sludge removal device, combining "centrifugal separation" and "separation tank," for a major engine manufacturer, designed for the sludge that accumulates in coolant tanks. (1) The sludge is suctioned up and settled in a cyclone separator. (2) The settled sludge falls into the sludge tank. (3) The sludge that does not settle is collected by an air diaphragm pump and a recovery float, and is directed into the sludge tank via overflow from the separation tank. Introduction of a case study on the delivery of a floating oil recovery pump skimmer and separation tank suitable for processing plant drainage pits.

We received an inquiry from a waste disposal company in Oita Prefecture regarding the recovery of oil flowing into a newly established treatment plant's drainage pit. The recovery itself can be easily accomplished with the floating oil recovery pump skimmer "H-FR series," but they were also concerned about separation. Therefore, we proposed a separation tank and delivered it as part of a system with the recovery skimmer. [Case Study] Oil Recovery from Floating in a Rapid Water Flow Pit

We received an inquiry from a certain heavy industry company in the Kansai region regarding the possibility of recovering floating oil in a narrow drainage pit with strong water flow. First, we lent them a demo unit of the H-FR type for evaluation. The on-site demonstration successfully recovered the oil without any issues and received positive feedback; however, there was one challenge. Due to the strong and narrow water flow in the pit, the recovery pump skimmer was hitting the inner walls of the pit, and they requested a solution to prevent this.
