Improved impact resistance recycled PPS resin

Successfully developed a grade that improves impact strength by approximately 30% compared to conventional recycled PPS.

We would like to introduce a grade (RS-1340B) that has improved impact strength by approximately 30% compared to the high-quality recycled PPS resin (RS-1340) handled by Kotec Co., Ltd. The conventional RS-1340 had an Izod impact strength of 6.2 kgf/cm, but the newly developed impact-resistant modified grade RS-1340B has improved to an Izod impact strength of 9.0 kgf/cm. This product is a PPS resin that has been recycled and processed using our company's unique technology.

"Recycled Resin" <Contributing to the achievement of SDGs by reusing waste plastic>

What is the difference between virgin resin and recycled resin? We will resolve that question. Basic knowledge materials will be provided.

Our company is engaged in the production of "recycled resin." We collect waste materials and defective products of super engineering plastics such as "PPS" and "polycarbonate" generated in factories, and carry out recycling under thorough quality control. We have established a system that can stably supply high-quality recycled resin that can be reused as materials for products. Furthermore, through the recycling of resins, our company is actively working towards achieving the SDGs. We are currently offering materials related to our recycled resin. [Contents of the materials] ■ About recycled polycarbonate ■ About virgin polycarbonate ■ About recycled PPS ■ About virgin PPS ■ About our initiatives towards the SDGs *For more details, please refer to the materials. Feel free to contact us with any inquiries. ★ We also plan to exhibit at trade shows. For more information, please see the basic information below.

Flexible compound resin

LUVOCOM sliding compounds are resin compound materials that improve sliding properties and friction/wear characteristics through a combination of various fillers.

By adding materials such as PTFE, graphite, mineral fillers, carbon fibers, glass fibers, aramid fibers, and nano-fillers, we improve surface lubricity and friction/wear characteristics. The benefits of using sliding compound materials include the following points: - It is possible to maintain a clean state as there is no need to use lubricants. - There are no additional costs associated with using lubricants. - It is possible to continue exhibiting sliding properties for an extended period. In addition to sliding properties and friction/wear characteristics, we also implement measures to keep the coefficient of linear expansion low. These compound resin materials are resistant to corrosion and oxidation caused by moisture, acids, and alkalis, making them suitable as alternative materials to metals in applications where metal corrosion is a common issue. As base resins, we have a proven track record with many resins such as PAEK, PEEK, PEI, PES, PPS, PPA, PA66, PA6, POM, and PBT. We will propose appropriate combinations of base resins and various fillers based on the customer's application.

Thermal conductive compound resin | LUVOCOM

LUVOCOM thermal conductive compounds achieve high thermal conductivity of up to 28W/mK through a unique blend of additives.

LUVOCOM is a thermally conductive compound resin material developed and manufactured by the German company Lehmann & Voss. General plastics have low thermal conductivity, around 0.1 to 0.4 W/mK. In contrast, LUVOCOM thermally conductive compound resins achieve high thermal conductivity of up to 28 W/mK through a unique additive formulation. As base resins, we have a proven track record with various thermoplastic resins such as PEEK, PEI, LCP, PPS, PPA, PA66, PET, and PC, and we offer both conductive and insulating materials. Thermally conductive compound resins often require a large amount of inorganic fillers to achieve high thermal conductivity, which can negatively impact moldability and mechanical properties. At Lehmann & Voss, we pursue a balance between thermal conductivity, moldability, and mechanical properties based on our extensive experience.

Flame-retardant resin

Let's prepare for fires in the factory! Achieve risk reduction.

We would like to introduce our "flame-retardant resin." As exemplified by the series of semiconductor factory fires that occurred in the 2020s, which contributed to the semiconductor shortage, it is absolutely essential to avoid long-term operational shutdowns of factories. Minimizing the risk of fire occurrence in factory operations and, if a fire does occur, preventing its spread and reducing damage is crucial. 【Product Lineup (Partial)】 ■PTFE ■PI (Polyimide) ■PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) ■PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide) ■PEEK *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Thermoplastic resin "CFRP"

Through hot press molding, we can provide various shapes.

It is a carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) based on thermoplastic resin. It possesses high heat resistance and high chemical resistance, which were not achievable with conventional thermosetting resin CFRP. Additionally, conventional CFRP uses thermosetting resin, which requires a long time for molding, making it unsuitable for mass production, and it has difficulties in molding complex shapes. With CFRP based on thermoplastic resin, it is possible to mold complex shapes in a short time using thermal press molding. 【Features】 - Excellent impact strength and creep characteristics - High heat resistance - High chemical resistance - Lightweight For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
