A new robot system has been introduced in the packaging sorting process of pharmaceutical factory blister packs! Line stoppages have been eliminated, achieving an increase in production capacity!

We have achieved the automation of the packaging unit distribution process for pharmaceutical packaging (pharmaceutical wrappers) in a pharmaceutical factory using a new 3kg portable wing slicer-type (scara-type) robot manufactured by Nittokyo. Previously, the next process could not be initiated until all items were in place on the entire line, requiring a temporary line stop. However, with the introduction of this robot system, it is now possible to dispatch to the next process as soon as the packaging units for a specific item are ready. Nachi MZ04 & One Measurement Air Micro Inner Diameter Measurement Automation Robot System

An automated inner diameter measurement system that combines the 4kg portable robot from Nitto Seiko with the Daiichi Measurement Air Micro. Furthermore, statistical management of measurement results is also possible!

This is an inner diameter measurement automation system developed in collaboration between the KYONI Robot Promotion Office and Daiichi Measurement. As an example of measurement automation, it uses a motorcycle cylinder head, with a Daiichi Measurement air micro attached to the hand of a Nidec 4kg portable robot for measurement. The data is transmitted to a computer via wireless communication through a digital display unit and managed with measurement statistical software.
