This product is extremely low in carbon, which prevents intergranular corrosion, and is used in applications that require resistance to intergranular corrosion while maintaining weldability. The diameter tolerance is h9, and cutting sales are available from φ14. (For diameters of φ13 and below, there may be residual material.) Small diameter round bars (up to φ13) are cut with a ponse, while cutting from φ14 is done with a circular saw. Cutting with a lathe provides the cleanest cut surface but increases costs.
