When objects burn around us, it is necessary for three conditions—combustible material, oxygen, and a heat source—to be met, which is commonly referred to as the "three elements of combustion." On the other hand, the combustion pot of a "pellet stove" has slits and ventilation holes to take in fresh air, but if these become clogged with ash or clinker, combustion cannot be sustained due to lack of oxygen, causing the flame to gradually turn dark red and eventually leading to a misfire.
