Califloat switch

A ball float switch that can be applied from alarm to control with just one float.

The ball float we handle, the 【KARI Float Switch】, has a weight embedded inside the float that tilts in one direction and a micro switch. Additionally, there is a pendulum-like weight that presses the micro switch when the float tilts, allowing it to output contacts in response to the tilt of the float. There are two types of buoyancy: 2N and 6N. The 2N KARI Mini Float is suitable for level control (for alarms) in clean water, while the 6N buoyancy KARI Float can handle wastewater containing solid particles. Furthermore, we also offer a multi-point ball float switch model KF-805N, which combines the KARI Mini Float with a terminal box, allowing measurements from one to six points (with optional seven or eight points). The horizontal float switch is a sensor that detects liquid level by utilizing the buoyancy of a float. Its operating principle involves the ON-OFF switching of contact output through the mutual magnetic action between a magnet attached to the end of the float and a magnet inside a case separated by a partition. In addition to the standard KF-207 model, we also offer custom-made options tailored to the measuring liquid and conditions. - For stable measurement of high-viscosity liquids or liquids containing impurities, we have the KF-207F model, which is mounted vertically. - If the liquid contains fine solids, such as sewage or scum, which may prevent the float from moving, we offer the KF-209 model with a bellows. - For use in ships where chattering needs to be prevented, we provide the KF-207K model with a larger float size (φ40-200L). Additionally, we manufacture level switches suitable for various applications, including explosion-proof specifications, heat-resistant specifications, screw-mounted specifications, models with operational test levers, two-contact output specifications, and products certified by NK. This is a capacitive level switch that can be used for various applications with over 1,000 types of electrode shapes and special circuits. It reliably detects even in the following situations: 1. For measurement objects with electrode adhesion or deposits, unique correction functions ensure that adhesion and deposits are not detected. 2. For use in areas with severe vibrations, it is equipped with amplification separation and vibration-resistant measures. 3. For corrosive measurement objects, Teflon-coated electrodes can be used (depending on the measurement conditions). 4. There are no issues with installing multiple units in the same tank (however, if the installation spacing is short, interference countermeasures are required). 5. If you want to detect interfaces, it can be adapted by referring to the relative permittivity of the two liquids, provided the conditions are met. 6. For use in areas with significant temperature differences, there is a condensation prevention specification (indoor use only, with air holes). 7. If you want to confirm ON/OFF without going to the site, there is a version with a visible operation indicator light. 8. If chattering causes frequent ON/OFF repetitions, the ALN type comes standard with an ON delay function (an OFF delay option is also available).
