We would like to introduce a case study of our "mat switch." The customer was using their hands to assist in the winding of large cables. At one point, they lost their balance, and their hand got caught in the winding machine. They contacted us to implement a mat switch as a countermeasure. We set it up so that the winding machine would come to an emergency stop when stepping off the mat. A mechanism was introduced where the machine would not operate if feet were not in the correct position.
