Solving the problem of being unable to collect paint that has occurred in a distant location! Introducing case studies of push-pull construction.

The painting factory of Company Y, a tool manufacturing company, was only using exhaust fans to ventilate the dust generated during painting, which was insufficient for proper exhaust. However, due to the varying sizes of the products and their locations being spread out, there was a problem where paint generated in distant areas could not be collected by a standard painting booth. Therefore, our company designed a painting booth tailored to the dimensions of the painting room. We implemented a push-pull ventilation system to ensure that paint is smoothly exhausted regardless of where it is generated. As a result, the working environment for the painters has significantly improved, and we received approval from the supervisory authority. Company T, which manufactures air conditioning equipment, faced challenges in creating a suitable painting environment due to the necessity of using cranes for painting large machinery, making it impossible to enclose the painting area. As a result, the painting conditions were poor. The only solution available was a "push-pull ventilation" system, but it was prohibitively expensive, preventing any progress on countermeasures. In response, our company adopted an "open push-pull type" system. Given the limited space, we designed and manufactured it to maximize the available working area on-site. As a result, the airflow was clean, and we successfully passed the inspection by the labor standards office without any issues. We would like to introduce a case where a push-pull type ventilation device was implemented in a company that manufactures water supply piping. The factory conducts painting work on water supply pipes, but there are multiple sizes of pipes, making work particularly difficult within a 6-meter range. Ventilation in the large area was not effective, and based on environmental measurement results, it was determined that improvements to the working environment were necessary. By installing a caster-equipped push-pull type ventilation device during the painting of water supply pipes, it became possible to safely paint both large and small parts. Furthermore, by introducing an MDF-type blower and adjusting the wind speed with an inverter, energy-saving operation became possible for the painting of shorter pipes. Since the controlled airflow can be reduced, it allows for a smaller hood airflow and dust collector.
