Flood prevention measures for medical facilities and more with flood stoppers! [Case study available]
NETIS acquisition! Introducing the voices of hospitals that actually experienced flooding damage! Preventing failures of expensive medical equipment, facilities, elevators, etc., caused by flooding with flood barriers.
Flood prevention measures for medical facilities are very important. The Flood Control Act has been revised, making the creation of evacuation plans and the implementation of evacuation drills mandatory, which were previously only efforts. Particularly in medical facilities, important medical equipment is located underground, so if rainwater flows into the facility due to sudden heavy rain, it could lead to very serious accidents. By using flood barriers, waterproof boards, and tidal barriers known as "flood stoppers," we can prevent (or delay) flooding damage inside the building, allowing sufficient time for evacuation. We have included voices from hospitals that were affected during the heavy rains in western Japan, so please take a moment to read them. [Customer Voices (Excerpt)] ■ All paper items such as books, files, and medical records became unusable due to flooding. ■ We thought we would be fine since the disaster prevention equipment was on the roof, but when the first floor flooded, we could not use the emergency power supply, elevators, escalators, or facility functions, and the hospital was completely unable to operate. *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.
