Achieve long life with excellent retention! The large protrusion of the abrasive grains significantly improves the efficiency of rough machining! Low processing heat is also a characteristic!
Compared to conventional abrasive grains, diamond and CBN abrasives have a higher thermal conductivity, which helps to suppress the temperature rise of the workpiece, thereby improving processing quality. Additionally, due to their high hardness, they provide excellent cutting performance and generate less wear, leading to reduced running costs.
■ Large protrusion of abrasive grains
Since the base material, bonding agent, and abrasive grains are firmly fixed together, there is a significantly lower occurrence of peeling of the plating and detachment of the abrasive grains compared to typical electroplated tools. Furthermore, about two-thirds of the abrasive grains are protruding, which dramatically improves the efficiency of rough machining. The lifespan is usually 4 to 5 times that of standard electroplated tools and 50 to 100 times that of resin bond tools. *Tool lifespan depends on the material and shape of the workpiece.
■ No shape distortion
Since the abrasive grain layer is fixed in a single layer to the base material, there is no shape distortion, ensuring stable finishing dimensions of the workpiece. Additionally, the abrasive grains are arranged without overlapping, allowing grinding chips to be smoothly discharged and preventing clogging.
■ Low machining heat
The significantly exposed abrasive grains perform cutting operations that are close to machining, resulting in lower specific grinding energy. This helps to reduce the heat generated during processing, thereby minimizing thermal effects on the workpiece and stabilizing dimensional and shape accuracy.
