Dissolving material 'SB 5/SMW 605'

Especially effective for spheroidal graphite cast iron! An influential inoculant alloy based on ferrosilicon.

We would like to introduce our treatment alloy "SB 5/SMW 605." "SB 5" is a highly effective inoculant FeSi, suitable for both flake graphite cast iron and spheroidal graphite cast iron. Aluminum and calcium provide excellent inoculation effects across a wide range of materials, while barium extends the fading time, ensuring reliability throughout the entire casting process. "SMW 605" is a powerful inoculant alloy based on ferrosilicon, particularly suitable for spheroidal graphite cast iron. Bismuth, along with cerium, significantly increases the number of spheroidal graphite particles. 【Features of SB 5】 ■ Good solubility ■ High inoculation effect ■ Long-lasting inoculation effect ■ Low addition amount ■ Uniform graphite crystallization ■ Suppression of carbides ■ Improvement of mechanical properties *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us at info.japan@ask-chemicals.com.

Black Silicon Carbide Briquette

Black Silicon Carbide Briquette/SiC Briquette

Silicon carbide briquettes are produced for using in cupola melted gray and ductile base iron for the purpose of introducing silicon and carbon to the iron. The advantage silicon carbide holds over ferrosilicon products is the addition of a carbon component which may provide carbon units to the iron and/or reduce cupola coke requirements. The reduction in coke may in turn lead to increased melt rate.
