Ashworth OmniGrid 360 Belt

This is the latest spiral belt from Ashworth, the company that invented the low-tension spiral. The head section is fully welded and fixed.

- The allowable tensile strength is 1.5 times higher compared to the conventional heavy-duty link specification omnigrid belt (based on our comparison). Some manufacturers do not specify the allowable tension of their belts, but at Ashworth, reliable engineers verify specifications such as allowable tensile strength based not only on data from simple tensile tests but also on years of accumulated performance worldwide and long-term operational data from tests conducted in our own factory. Without presenting data, measuring the belt's tension can lead to a lack of a comparative basis, rendering the examination meaningless. - It can accommodate small-radius spirals with a turn ratio (drum radius/belt width) of up to 1.7 without the need for special belts. At a 1.5-inch pitch, the turn ratio (drum radius/belt width) is 1.6, allowing for small-radius drum-type spirals equivalent to the conventional reduced radius omnigrid. - The head section is fully welded, making it stronger compared to traditional bridge welding, and there are no dead spaces where food residues can accumulate. Ashworth Advantage 120 Belt

Advantage 120 is a hybrid belt made of resin modules and stainless steel rods designed for spiral applications (linear use is also possible).

This belt is composed of plastic links, a modular body, and stainless steel rods. It has a significantly higher opening rate compared to resin belts, providing substantial advantages in hygiene and handling. The robust links at the ends of the belt can withstand tension loads of up to 1000 pounds, maximizing production capacity. In terms of operating temperature, it can handle a wide range of applications, reaching up to 180°F (82°C) despite being made of plastic. Its unique rod retention mechanism eliminates the need for clips or fasteners, allowing for quick repairs and replacements with a small driver. Compared to other companies' plastic spiral belts, it is designed to accommodate a wide range of usage conditions, considering product conveyance, opening rate, hygiene, and applications from freezer use to general use.

Plastic mesh belt

This is a conveyor belt woven with plastic (resin) wire. Unlike metal mesh belts, it is a very lightweight product with minimal stretch.

This is a plastic mesh (net) belt conveyor that is easy to install (pin seam method). It is a belt conveyor woven with polyester fibers. Unlike conventional resin, rubber, or stainless steel belt conveyors, it features a pin seam joint, allowing for installation simply by aligning the belt, inserting the pin, and twisting it. A significant characteristic is that it does not require specialized installation contractors. It can be easily installed by on-site workers, significantly reducing work time. Additionally, since it does not require installation contractors, the production line can be stopped at convenient times for the site, thereby improving productivity. The plastic mesh (net) belt offers various variations created by weaving polyester fibers in diverse ways, including plain weave, twill weave, satin weave, double weave, and double spiral weave. As shown in the table below, the types of weaving derived from plastic wire differ in density, breathability, static electricity prevention, and heat resistance, allowing for various applications tailored to different uses.
