A blockage occurred in the vertical pipe (250φ×300L) between the powder feeder for raw material measurement and the raw material hopper, so we installed a Bro-Disk Mini to resolve the issue. In this case, the user had originally installed an air knocker on the upper raw material hopper due to the inherently poor flowability of the powder. However, after changing the source of the raw material recently, blockages began to occur in the vertical pipe below the hopper, leading them to install an air knocker there as well, but it had little effect. Subsequently, they became interested in the Bro-Disk, and after testing it, they achieved a 100% resolution. At the wood biomass-related facility, we resolved the bridging issue occurring at the top of the discharge screw feeder of the wood powder silo by introducing aeration and vibration bridge breakers as proposed by our company. It seems that the customer frequently experienced bridging since the initial installation of the equipment, and only the amount necessary for discharge was fed in to minimize the occurrence of bridging. However, even so, bridging phenomena occurred with a certain frequency, and when it got clogged, it was addressed by poking it from above with a stick. We received your consultation regarding the issues during the regular maintenance of the plant.
