We would like to introduce a case where our technical proposal improved the sharpness and durability of tool cutting edges. The customer in question came to us with concerns that the cutting edge of their re-sharpened turning tool was chipping immediately upon use. In response, we suggested aligning the tool's machining direction with the grinding direction. To match the machining method with the grinding direction, we changed the grinding direction from horizontal to vertical, which improved both cutting performance and durability.
