MFP-3D Atomic Force Microscope Sealed Fluid Cell

The closed-type fluid cell enables sample imaging in a fluid within a completely sealed environment.

The Closed Fluid Cell (CFC) is designed to statically hold gas or liquid inside the cell or allow for circulation through injection and extraction ports. Its unique design enables the cell, sample, and cantilever holder to be fully assembled and sealed in a controlled environment (such as inside a glove box or fume hood), after which it can be transported to the AFM. Two versions are available: 1) Fluid Cell Lite: A cost-effective type that minimizes evaporation (not fully sealed) and does not have injection and extraction ports. 2) Electrical Closed Cell: Allows for electrical connection to the sample.

The electrochemical cell (EC cell) dedicated to the MFP-3D AFM/SPM from Asylum Research enables in situ observation of the deposition, oxidation, corrosion, and mass transport of metals and other substances.
